As an order progresses through our system, it is important you understand its status and the meaning of that status. Below is an outline of statuses, their meaning, and possible timeframes (where applicable).
Once an order has left our warehouse, we will advise customers of the consignment number, so they can keep track of its progress.
Status | Meaning | Timeframe |
Backorder | Item(s) are not currently in stock and the order is being held until that stock arrives from the supplier(s) | Depends on the individual ETAs of each of the item(s) on backorder |
Ready for picking | The order is ready to be picked by the warehouse team | Depending on the time of year, orders may sit on Ready for picking for some time. In most cases, the order should be picked by the next business day |
Picking slip printed | The order has progressed to the warehouse for picking and is in the process of being picked, packed and dispatched | Depending on the time of the year, the timeframe may vary, but in general, this process takes between 24-48 hours |
Picking slip completed | The order has been picked in the warehouse and is waiting to be packed and dispatched. | Generally the order will leave the warehouse within 24 hours. |
Ready to update | The order has been picked, packed and dispatched, with tracking details TBC | N/A |
Finished | The order has left the warehouse and has entered the freight network for delivery | See tracking details with each courier for ETA |
